Visual communications, Photography digital and traditional, Photoshop

I have been a commercial photographer for over 20 years. I was asked to share my experiences in the photography field with the students in the Graphic Concept Photography Class in the Faculty of Design as well as in Graphic Communications in the Faculty of Foundation Studies.

In an age of instant communication, gratification and change, it is important to instill the basic values and thought processes needed to survive in today's hectic world. It is my hope that as a teacher I can help guide students so that they may develop the thought processes necessary that will affect positive change and set the tone for a brighter, more vibrant future. It is my hope that the students of today will bring a timely change to an industry which in its hurry to grow with the technological advances, has forgotten some of the age-old basics and fundamentals that are so needed to create intelligent and meaningful design. I am proud to be part of that educational effort.
