Overview

Louis Fishauf studied Communication Design at the Ontario College of Art, graduating in 1972. After an 8-month apprenticeship with Les Usherwood at Typsettra, he spent the next ten years in magazine design, working at Chatelaine, The City, City Woman and Saturday Night. In 1982 Fishauf co-founded Reactor Art & Design, where he was Creative Director for twelve years, working with clients like Roots, Adobe, Bata, Canada Post, and Molson Breweries among many others. For the past twenty-plus years he has freelanced as a graphic designer, art director, illustrator and creative consultant for a diverse group of clients including the Sympatico Internet Service, Canada Post, Adbeast, Alias Systems and Toronto Life magazine. He has been a sessional instructor at OCADU since 2006.
