In conjunction with Alicia Henry’s first exhibition in Canada, and in partnership with OCAD University, The Power Plant presents this conversation between the artist and guest curator Daina Augaitis.

Henry, based in Nashville, Tennessee, works with leather, textiles, paperboard and other media to explore unconventional approaches to portraiture. She creates compelling compositions with references to her own memories, her collection of West African masks and events around her. The two will speak about the evolution of Henry’s work.

Alicia Henry’s exhibition, Witnessing, opens January 26 at The Power Plant.
