Welcome to the exhibition, showcasing products from a participatory design collaboration between OCAD University second-year industrial design students and the Sewing Studio from the Toronto Centre for Community Learning and Development (CCL&D). A design class was held offsite in Regent Park as a way to have a truly immersive experiential learning opportunity for students. They were able to work with women from the Sewing Studio to produce bespoke textile goods to be sold at Centre of Opportunities for Regent Park Enterprises (CORE) as part of their livelihood.
Please join the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences and School of Interdisciplinary Studies for mini talks by Dr. Julian Haladyn, Dr. Kathy Kiloh, Dr. Jessica Mace, and Dr. Milena Tomic.
