Since its creation in 2002, the Love Exhibition has worked to raise awareness about the privilege that surrounds us and our responsibility to support others. Each year, proceeds from the show are used to support community- based organizations that combat violence and encourage self-esteem. Each of us has infinite abilities of kindness and love.
LOVE 2008 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Artwork is to relate to this year_s theme of “Mask”. How do we hide or portray ourselves to others? All artwork must be 8 x 8 inches and ready to hang.
Deadline for submissions is September 5 -23, 2008.
ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE:
Your artwork (8 x 8 inches, ready to hang; CV and Artist Statement;contact information; $10 fee for each submission payable to: Lonsdale - Love Show 2008. This year_s proceeds will go towards helping Nomads. Art by street youth receiving support from organizations that help kids find answers. Affiliated with the Love Show, Nomads intends to raise awareness about organizations that help street youth in our city.

Please be advised that OCAD U hosted events may be documented through photographs and video. These images may be used by the University for promotional, advertising, and educational purposes. By participating in our events, both on campus and off-site, you consent to allowing OCAD University to document and use your image and likeness. However, if you do not want us to use a photo or video of you or your child, please don’t hesitate to let us know when you arrive at the event.
