Design Exchange's inaugural festival EDIT: Expo for Design, Innovation & Technology is on the hunt for design, innovation and technology enthusiasts who will help bring this year's expo to life.
In partnership with the UnitedNations Development Programme and inspired by its 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development, EDIT will explore the theme of Prosperity For All through an interdisciplinary presentation of design projects from the fields of architecture, healthcare, education and gastronomy.
- Volunteers who commit to 3 or more shifts will receive a lanyard for the 10-days of EDIT. This will give them access to the exhibitions, talks, and Exchanges (immersive activities throughout the festival).
- They will receive a branded EDIT t-shirt courtesy of our sponsors H&M.
- Volunteers who complete 3 or more shifts will be submitted to VAACT (Volunteer Awards in Arts & Culture Toronto). VAACT will send them a seal for their contributions. If they have met the requirements of VAACT (volunteering with 4 of the organizations), they will receive an invitation to the Volunteer Awards dinner on December 5th and have a chance to win an award for their contributions to Toronto's vibrant Arts & Culture organizations.
- Volunteers can also follow-up with myself after the EDIT Festival if they would like a reference letter.
Immerse yourself in an innovation hub, spice up your resume, make valuable industry connections, and play a critical role at the largest andmost ambitious Design Exchange event to date.
