CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: DIVERSITY & EQUITY EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR STUDENTS
The Diversity & Equity Excellence Award for Students acknowledges an outstanding student whose advocacy and leadership promote and advance human rights, equity and social justice on campus.
Successful candidates will be announced at an annual appreciation event in March 2018. Nominators will also be invited.

The Student Group Leader of the Year Award will be presented annually to a student group leader who excels, above and beyond in their leadership role! Through facilitation and involvement, the leader demonstrates outstanding contributions, commitment and support to their group members and the OCAD University community.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: PEER MENTOR AWARDS Peer Mentor Awards acknowledge those peer mentors who made outstanding contributions, supporting new and first-year students and helping build community, while adhering to the mandate of the program.
All peer mentors participating in the 2017/2018 Student Mentor Program are eligible to be nominated for ONE of TWO awards (valued at $500 each).
Successful candidates will be announced at an annual appreciation event in March 2018. Nominators will also be invited.
AZURE, the influential contemporary design and architecture magazine, announces the opening of submissions to the 2018 AZ Awards. Now in its 8th year, the AZ Awards competition celebrates the best in architecture and design from around the world.

The Financial Aid and Awards office is excited to share that students can now see the results of bursaries by logging into MyOCADU.ca and select the AwardSpring or the Self Service icon (be sure to review both Fall and Winter terms individually). Please note, if you do not see any results, this means you were not approved for bursary assistance. You may appeal this decision by seeing a Financial Aid Advisor to discuss your application in greater detail.
Students, faculty and alumni were recognized at the Craft Awards on October 12, taking home five awards for their work in the fields.

From makers that create innovative and exceptional work to curators, administrators, writers and volunteers who support the craft community, each recipient is recognized as an important contributor to contemporary craft practice. Since 1981 the program has recognized over 500 emerging and established professionals for their outstanding work and contributions.”
