All students who are Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents or Protected Persons and who are registered in a degree program at the University for the 2019 summer session are eligible to apply for a bursary through this program. Priority will be given to eligible OSAP students as per OCAD University's commitment to the Ontario government's Student Access Guarantee.
ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY
Students must meet the following criteria in order to apply for a bursary through this program:
The 2018/19 AwardSpring system is now available for application. This is a general application for all scholarships, awards and bursaries that will be available during the 2018/19 academic year.
Students have until November 23, 2018 to complete the application if they wish to be considered for bursaries. Some bursaries may require additional information, which the system will identify.
The available scholarships and awards will be posted in the system in January 2019. A second application is not required for these opportunities. Students can update the existing application if applicable.

The Financial Aid and Awards office is excited to share that students can now see the results of bursaries by logging into MyOCADU.ca and select the AwardSpring or the Self Service icon (be sure to review both Fall and Winter terms individually). Please note, if you do not see any results, this means you were not approved for bursary assistance. You may appeal this decision by seeing a Financial Aid Advisor to discuss your application in greater detail.

OCAD University is committed to ensuring that students with financial need will have enough funding to meet the direct educational costs (tuition, books and other mandatory fees) of attending university. Education costs will be met by a variety of sources including OSAP, bursaries, scholarships, awards and opportunities to work on campus.
There are various bursary programs available to OCAD U students generated through government, donations, endowments, tuition revenue or external agencies.

The Financial Aid and Awards team and the OCAD U community have been working hard at implementing a new all-in one personalized system that allows you to apply to bursaries, scholarships and awards with just a click of a button, well maybe a few :) This means it will be easier for you to find and apply to more funding opportunities.
