The exhibit features the works of more than two hundred of today’s top college level illustration students.  A jury of professional peers, including illustrators and art directors, have chosen the most outstanding works created throughout the year. Pieces are accepted based on the quality of technique, concept and skill of medium used.

The Society, as well as other generous private and corporate donors, grant scholarships to the top students featured in the competition.
The exhibit runs through June 3, 2017 and the students’ work will be published in a full-colour catalogue.

An illustrator’s take on energy harvesting

INSTUDIO asked 2016 grad j.s. godfrey to recognize World Environment Day with a feature illustration. World Environment Day occurs annually on June 5th, and is the United Nation's principal vehicle for encouraging global awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Writes godfrey of the work: “A Dinosaur runs into a forest of wind turbines to get away from a swarm of oil pump mosquitoes.”

OCADU Illustration Students Awarded by 3x3 Magazine

2017 Illustration Medal Winner Andrew Watch was awarded a Bronze from 3x3, alongside several other Illustration students winning merits and honorable mentions.
