New Students Financial Aid Information Sessions

New students (and parents) are welcome to attend a financial assistance and general career planning information session hosted by the Financial Aid & Awards office. Tom Fairbairn, OCAD's Career Service Advisor, will join the session to discuss ways students can begin to prepare, even in their first year, for their eventual entry into the work world. All sessions will be held at 51 McCaul Street, Room 5200 (2nd Floor).

OSAP Student Loan Repayment Session

Wednesday, May 21, 2008 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Are you graduating this year? Do you have student loans? Paying back your student loans might not be as scary as you think!

Join us for an information session with some practical steps and information designed to give you the knowledge and understanding on how to repay and manage your student loan debt. You'll learn about programs and strategies like Continued Interest Relief, Revision of Terms and Debt Reduction for Students in Repayment -- all designed to help reduce the pressure of repayment when you're not in school and are just starting out.

The session will be conducted by a Resolve Corporation representative and will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 1:00-2:00 pm in room 1320, 113 McCaul Street. A representative from the Financial Aid & Awards office will be on hand to answer your questions.

Vancouver’s Masters of Digital Media Program at Great Northern Way Campus

The Masters of Digital Media Program (MDM) is an innovative, full-time professional graduate degree offering students team-based experiences focused on project learning in close collaboration with the international games and digital media industry. Graduates will develop the professional skills required to be effective creators, practitioners and senior managers in this rapidly growing industry. The program is offered at the Great Northern Way Campus in Vancouver, and graduates of the program will receive a Masters Degree bearing the seals of BC's top post-secondary institutions: the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design and British Columbia Institute of Technology.
