President’s message

Welcome to Daylight Saving Time. While we’re all probably still feeling the effects, it is nice to leave work in daylight again. We are making our way out of a tough winter of record-breaking snow and cold.

Because of the severe weather, we had to reschedule the talk by alumnus, artist and graphic design icon Burton Kramer. I’m grateful to Burton for making himself available again on April 17 to share his amazing insights on the graphic design industry in Canada. I hope you can attend.

Promoting INVC

Martin Iskander, Video Producer and Photographer on OCAD U’s Marketing & Communications team, produced a promotional video for the Indigenous Visual Culture program (INVC). The video profiles a current INVC student, Kaia’tanoron Dumoulin, who talks about her experience at OCAD U and encourages others to apply. Dumoulin recently exhibited her work at her first solo exhibition, Too Much Not Enough, at the Ada Slaight Gallery.
