OCAD U is honoured to host acclaimed international artist Maria Thereza Alves as the 2018 Jack Weinbaum Family Foundation Global Experience Project (GEP 2018) artist-in-residenceWith her investigations into lands, borders, colonial systems and migration, Alves’ work exemplifies art that is driven to engage social spaces and contexts through collaboration, advocacy and activism. Alves’ Seeds of Change garnered the Vera List Center Prize for Art and Politics, 2016-2018.
