A Community Meeting will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008, 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm at CTV, 299 Queen West (at John Street).
Professor John Polanyi, Nobel Laureate and Grange resident and Councillor Adam Vaughan will be guest speakers at the founding meeting of the Grange Community Association (GCA).
GRANGE PARK: The Grange Park Advisory Committee (GPAC) will give an update the revitalization plan for Grange Park. On May 21, 2008 a community meeting held at 168 John Street unanimously endorsed a proposal to establish the Grange Park Advisory Committee (GPAC) under the auspices of the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO).
GRANGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION: In May 2008, the neighbourhood was presented with a proposal to establish a Grange Community Association GCA. The Steering Committee will present a slate of persons to serve on the Founding Board of he GCA.
The Grange Community Meeting has been arranged by the Steering Committee of the Grange Community Association (GCA) and the Grange Park Advisory Committee (GPAC) in co-operation with Councillor Adam Vaughan, the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), Toronto Community Housing, the University Settlement Recreation Centre, Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD), St. George the Martyr Church and CTV.
Mandarin and Cantonese interpretation will be available.
