To determine where the new construction portion of the Creative City Campus Project can be situated, existing service pipes must be mapped and located and soil conditions verified in the area of the north laneway of 100 McCaul St. This will determine where the structure for the new-build component of the Creative City Campus can be situated.
OCAD University celebrated the opening of its new waterfront campus, OCAD U CO ̶ the university’s new executive studio that uses creative problem-solving to drive innovation and change. Located at Daniel City of the Arts, the new facility is also the home of Imagination Catalyst entrepreneurship and commercialization hub, which supports companies committed to design-driven products and services.

Dr. Sara Diamond, President and Vice-Chancellor, OCAD University, welcomed Dr. Marie Wilson as the first keynote speaker in the 2018-2019 President’s Speaker Series. An award-winning journalist and Commissioner of the historic Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC), Dr. Wilson discussed the lessons learned from the TRC and how Canadians can chart a way forward in the context of reconciliation.
OCAD U’s Ryan Rice, Associate Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Interdisciplinary Studies, formerly Delaney Chair, along with The Inuit Art Quarterly/Inuit Art Foundation (IAF), hosted a meet-and-greet with partners of the Inuit Futures in Arts Leadership: The Pilimmaksarniq/Pijariuqsarniq Project.
