(Toronto — September 16, 2010) From October 15 to 17, OCAD University (OCADU) will host Art/Inter/Face: Connecting through Critical and Creative Action, a conference organized and sponsored by the Ontario Society for Education through Art (OSEA), the Canadian Society for Education through Art (CSEA) and OCADU’s Faculty of Art.
Art and design education is changing rapidly in light of the new realities of the 21st century, with its emphasis on innovation and interaction. Are your teaching and research practices keeping pace? Join us face to face to learn about cutting edge ideas, creative teaching methods and innovative approaches to research for art and design education in school, university and community settings.
“Our collaboration with CSEA and OSEA reaffirms OCAD University’s commitment to the advancement of art education,” said Vladimir Spicanovic, Dean of OCADU’s Faculty of Art. “We are delighted to host the conference and support the dialogue among Canada’s leading art educators and researchers.”
