Alison Judd's practice is rooted in printmaking at the intersection of print, sculpture and language. She holds an Interdisciplinary diploma from the Ontario College of Art, a BFA in Printmaking from Concordia University and completed her Masters of Fine Art in Print Media from York University. Alison Judd has exhibited work in Canada, the U.S., Cuba and Germany. She has been the recipient of awards and grants from Open Studio, (Toronto) the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. Judd has held residencies at the Kloster Bentlage Cultural Centre, (Rheine, Germany), the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture, (Dawson City, YK), the Banff Centre for the Arts (Banff, AB), Edition/Basel (Basel, Switzerland) and is currently the 2019/ 2020 Hexagon Special Projects Fellow at Open Studio in Toronto.
