Over the past thirty years, I have cultivated a cross-disciplinary approach in my work that I believe reflects a contemporary ‘fluidity’ of image or identity. Within this context, I have frequently examined new perceptual or theoretical developments occurring at the intersection of technology and representation. For the past decade, I have been working with ‘web-cam’ imagery of remote landscapes, lately selected primarily from NASA's Mars Missions database. I am increasingly interested by the relation of these images to the histories of art and science-fiction.
