Artist, Designer and Educator, Howard has taught at OCAD University for more than 25 years.
As a Designer, his practice includes specializations in space management and programming for institutional, commercial and residential clients and consulting on Universal and Accessible Design Best Practices for architectural firms and public institutions.
He has worked with a diversity of public agencies including the March of Dimes, the Ontario Government, the City of Toronto, St. Christopher House (United Way), The Martin Prosperity Institute, and the Design Exchange (DX) both as a designer and consultant.
Howard is active in the promotion of the relationship between Design and equitable, sustainable communities. As a practicing Designer and Educator, Howard is committed to an inclusive design process, ensuring that all design involves a truly people-centred approach through collaboration with and engagement of all end users.
