Overview

Nicholas Aoki is an artist and illustrator currently working and living in Toronto. He graduated from Sheridan College in illustration in 2004. Aoki's work unveils the inter-connectivity between the longstanding tradition of painting and new medias and technology. He is one of four founding members of the artist collective Team Macho, with whom he has exhibited in Canada and internationally in venues that include Optica Gallery, Montreal, Sidlee Collective, Amsterdam, Giant Robot, San Fracisco, New York, L.A., and most recently at the AGO with Axis Mundi.
