Paul began his graphic design education in England and completed it at the Ontario College of Art. At the end of his fourth year, he was hired by the boutique design firm, Fifty Fingers, which eventually became SFP. Within two years, Paul was made a partner and creative director. Today, he continues to work with the original founders under the banner Trajectory, a design firm specializing in branding and design work.
During his career, Paul has led design work for a broad range of clients including the ROM, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Scotiabank, Right to Play and more currently Pan Am Games Toronto, CBC and Mount Allison University.
Outside of the corporate work, Paul’s passion is book design. He has designed covers for books by Michael Ondaatje, Robertson Davies, Timothy Findley and Alice Munro. Highlights also include the cover of Life of Pi by Yann Martel and the current series design for Stuart McLean.
