The Panel on Research Ethics has released the newly updated TCPS 2 (2018). The updated policy includes new guidance, topics moved from clinical trials (Chapter 11), clarifications, terminology changes, and corrections.

The OCADU REB seeks new members to address OCADU’s need for representation from various OCADU community groups. Membership is voluntary and requires time for doing reviews and attending meetings. We are conscious of the gap in Indigenous representation on our REB and are committed to addressing it. The following positions are open:

Newly appointed REB Chair

David Griffin (born Kingston, Jamaica) has been appointed the OCADU REB Chair from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2021. Dr. Griffin has been a member of the OCADU REB since 2015. He is currently Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Art. Dr. Griffin holds a PhD from the Glasgow School of Art, an MFA from the Pratt Institute, and a BFA degree from Parsons School of Design.

Reason: testing of the fire alarm equipment regarding Fabrication Studios renovation

Please be advised that the domestic hot and cold water to 115 McCaul St. will be shut-off. The work has been scheduled for Saturday, November 9th for the entire day. Please note that additional work will be done such as  panels installation and the testing of vents and drains.

On Monday, November 11th, water to the the 3rd floor washrooms will be shut-off from  11AM until 1PM, washrooms on other floors should be unaffected.
