The OCAD Student Union invites all OCAD students to submit work for consideration towards a student retrospective exhibition. We are looking for Art & Design of all types from every program as well as documentation from student groups and events.

The Retrospective will be in the Great Hall from April 15 to 21 with an opening reception on Thursday April 17, 6 to 9 pm. All are encouraged to
attend.

Be sure to have all submissions sent in by Monday April 7!

1) 2-5 jpeg images of available work

2) Full name and contact information

3) A brief artist statement(5 sentences)

4) Area of study & Year

*for student groups and events please provide the same information, but swap group info for personal info.

When submitting, please include "Retro-Submission" in the
subject line of your email.

A Man Named Pearl tells the inspiring story of self-taught topiary artist Pearl Fryar
This summer, Bonavista Biennale: FLOE is bringing works by 20 leading Canadian, Indigenous and international contemporary artists to the Bonavista Peninsula. This month-long event happens every two years, with exhibitions and site-specific installations at more than 20 indoor and outdoor venues. Visitors explore art, local cultural, history and the landscape on a spectacular 100-kilometre coastal loop. The 2019 artists are from Newfoundland, Labrador, other parts of Canada and the northeastern United States. The exhibition, artist talks, workshops and other events run from August 17th through September 15th.
