March 3 – March 13, 2016

Wed – Sun, 11 am – 5 pm

Opening: Saturday March 5, 2 - 5 pm

Interference is a group show that will feature six graduating thesis students including work from Melanie Billark, Anusheh Daanish, Tracy Goldfarb, Charlotte Lung, Jess Smith, Whitney Wong from OCADU’s Sculpture and Installation program. This show will be featured at Lonsdale Gallery (410 Spadina Road). The opening reception is Saturday, March 5th from 2pm-5pm, running through until March 14th.

Interference explores a variety of visual processes and mediums such as textiles, ceramics, fabricated interactive objects, site-specific interventions, performance work, as well as labor-intensive processes. This body of work explores social, physical, and environmental interferences that we encounter within our daily routines.

OCAD University's Sculpture/Installation Program is presenting a series of seventeen exhibitions featuring the multi-media artworks of its 4th-year Thesis students in professional galleries in Toronto. This series is made possible by the generous support of the Nora Vaughan Bequest to the Sculpture/Installation program and of the Faculty of Art Innovation Fund.
