OCAD University will celebrate Black History Month, this year, through Black Creators’ Month.

The exhibition, curated by students of the OCADU BLXCK ASSOCIATION, Khadijah Morley and Maisha Marshall-Ende, features 20 artists who explore the meaning of Blackness in Canada in the year 2017 through visual culture. The exhibition is spread throughout multiple locations on the OCAD University campus: the Main Lobby at 100 McCaul St., the Ada Slaight Gallery on the 2nd Floor of 100 McCaul St. and the Open Gallery at 49 McCaul St.

All are welcome! Interested in drawing a professional model? These sessions are perfect for people looking for life drawing without instruction. While this studio time is offered by the OCAD University Alumni Association, you don't have to be a student or alumni to attend — the sessions are open to everyone! Bring a drawing board and materials — no reservation is required, but due to room capacity limits these sessions are run on a first-come first-served basis.
Celebrating ideas from across disciplines, let’s grow our collective understanding of sustainability at OCAD U over food, systems thinking games, and pecha kucha-style talks.
