Drop by to draw, collage or bring a printed button design to make into a 1.75" button/pin/badge! Make 2 buttons for a dollar. We'll have drawing and collage supplies available, or you're welcome to bring your own to craft a truly unique accessory. Pins can be a powerful communication tool - express your politics, your aesthetic, your fandoms for the world to see. 

This event hopes to create a fun opportunity for students to get together and create while also raising some money for the zine collective student group and zine library programming. We're hoping to raise enough money to print posters to promote future events and buy healthy snacks for the zine fair happening in March 2019.

OCAD University’s first year graduate candidates in Criticism and Curatorial Practice curate works by first year Interdisciplinary Art, Media and Design MFA candidates.
Cy Keener is an interdisciplinary artist who uses environmental sensing and kinetic sculpture to record and represent environmental phenomena.

Through this competition, running for the 7th time, First Capital Realty is offering the career defining opportunity of producing a sculptural work that will be prominently displayed on an exterior site of one of their shopping centres. The winner receives a $5000 prize, plus fabrication budget.  Finalists each receive $350 materials budget

Research Wednesdays presents: Discover the "Toronto New Wave" Cinema of the 1980s at the TIFF Film Reference Library. Michelle Lovegrove-Thomson, Senior Manager of the TIFF Film Reference Library, will give an introduction to a collection considered to be the "ultimate free resource for filmmkers, students, researchers, screenwriters, and film and television professionals."
Min Sook Lee is the Canadian Spotlight Artist at the 22nd Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival.  More than a decade after its Hot Docs premiere, Hogtown: The Politics of Policing, returns to the big screen to re-examine policing in city politics.  The screening will be followed by a special talk with Min Sook Lee.
