Colloque international - Faire Œuvre : transparence et opacité
Includes a presentation by Claire Brunet
Location
Université Laval Université Laval, Quebec, Quebec
OCAD Faculty member Claire Brunet will present her talk "The context of sculpture generated by digital technology"
The application of a digital language in art will contribute to the development of a broader creative approach and will allow artists to experience a fusion, a spontaneous relationship with their medium of creation, expanding traditional hands-on approach to form, through an innovative use of 3D computer technologies and other relevant digital modeling system technologies.
My sculpture/installation art projects will question and layout the context of sculpture generated by digital technology. My sculpture/installation projects will develop around contemporary environmental issues and will aim to create an interaction with the viewer.
How can nature and science—the message and the medium—demonstrate unlimited creative possibilities?
