Everything around us is designed. Design capability and ownership of the resulting intellectual property is the core competitive factor separating emerging and established economies. Excellent design is the factor that attracts consumers to new products in a media and consumer-driven global economy. Design is fundamental to technology transfer, new business processes and new manufacturing methods. Canada has core strengths in design, but we are increasingly challenged by India, China and other emerging nations who are investing to build capacity. To compete effectively, Canadian business needs to invest in design. Learn why, what and how.
Lunch will be served; advance registration is required – numbers are limited.
