Beyond the Walls: Exploring the Interface Between Digital and Physical Space
An MFA thesis exhibition by Jay Irizawa, a thesis candidate in the Interdisciplinary Master's of Art, Media and Design program.
Extra:Muros:Intra is an interactive space integrated into the historic site of Evergreen Brick Works. Using wearable technology, a participant’s state of awareness is captured with sensors and visualized in a digital landscape of colour and sound, creating a feedback of virtual presence in the material environment.
Public Event: September 7, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Experience Live: Thursday, September 1 to Sunday, September 4 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
