The OCADU library is hosting it's annual book sale the week of Sept 18th. Browse through hundreds of pre-loved art & design books, exhibition catalogues, some fiction, non-fiction, general interest, and ephemera. Proceeds support the library. Cash only.
Joe Sacco is one of the leading illustrator/authors in this field, with a long list of awards for his publications. Sacco inserts himself back into his hitness narratives creating both dynamic and reflexive reportings from many contemporary war zones and occupation sites such as Bosnia (The Fixer) and Palestine (Footnotes in Gaza).

As the recipient of the 2015/16 OCAD University Award for Distinguished Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity, Isabel Meirelles will be giving a talk about her research entitled The Visualizing Spirit
Nuit Talks is a unique look behind the scenes of Nuit Blanche Toronto, featuring inspired talks, round-table discussions and presentations by remarkable artists, curators and thinkers from this year's event. All talks are free and open to the public.
