Free courses on how to make website and content accessible

The Accessibility Directorate of Ontario, in partnership with the Ontario government’s Accessibility Centre of Excellence (ACOE), is offering free courses to the public sector on how to make website and content accessible.
The ACOE is the authoritative source of accessibility information across the provincial government as it relates to information and information technology. Training will be delivered live by an ACOE trainer via webinar.

Waiting for winter term courses ends.

Waitlisting for winter term courses will end on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

If space becomes available in a waitlisted course section you will be sent an email notification giving you permission to register. This will be sent to your OCAD U student email account and the permission will be valid for two days. If you do not register within two days you will be dropped from the waitlist and the permission will be sent to the next person on the waitlist.

Waitlist counts show the total number of students on the waitlist and do not reflect your position on it. The count at the time you were added to the waitlist was your 'starting position' - after that, as seats become available you will only move lower on the waitlist, not higher. If your waitlisted course section shows seats available, and you have not received an email notification, it means that the option to register has been given to student(s) ahead of you on the wait list.

Effective Wednesday, January 3 all winter course waitlists will be dropped and registration will continue on a first come first-served basis. Permissions to register which have already been granted when waitlists are dropped will still be valid for the standard two days from notification.

If by January 5 you have not been able to register for winter term required courses, please go to your Faculty office for assistance.
