As part of the library’s ongoing site-specific art intervention project, selected students from Colette Laliberté's "Painting in the Expanded Field" (DRPT-4011) are exhibiting artworks in the Dorothy H. Hoover Library. Each work conceptually interacts with a theme, practice, or policy in the library as an institution.

OCAD U exhibition unveiled at Queen’s Park

On February 15, OCAD University unveiled a unique exhibition in the boardroom of the Honourable Deb Matthews, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD). Curated by recent OCAD U graduate Delilah Rosier, the exhibition features 12 accomplished OCAD U student artists, giving viewers a sense of the unique, interdisciplinary works created at the university.

TERRA INCOGNITA: submission call

Thursday, February 16, 2017 to Friday, March 31, 2017

Terra Incognita can be defined as "an unknown territory, an unexplored country or field of knowledge". Artists may want to consider or reflect on the colonial historical narrative enforced through the celebration of Confederation. It is important to note that the exhibition will run concurrently with Canada's 150th anniversary.

This call is open to all Black, Indigenous, People of colour (BIPOC) students across the country!
The Indigenous Student Association (ISA) is looking for two-dimensional, three-dimensional and mixed media work for an exhibition that will run from July 6, 2017 to August 31, 2017.

Submission deadline: March 31, 2017.

All submissions must be made through Submittables:

The Collaborators is a dynamic group of 4th year Photography majors enrolled in OCAD University's Directed Photo Studio course. This exhibition is an opportunity to see the stellar work being produced by this team and an invitation to come and collaborate with us! We want to build our network and work with students and alumni from all areas of OCAD U and the community at large.
