AGO Visit and Secret Santa

The OCADoesTO student group gets OCAD students together to enjoy the culture that Toronto has to offer.

A trip to the new Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is being planned. To make it fun and festive, participate in Secret Santa and bring a small gift with you (under $5.00) to exchange with someone else in the group! This item should not be food.

OCAD Students get into the AGO for free so be sure to bring your OCAD ID card!

Gingerbread House Competition

Thursday, December 4, 2008 - 5:00pm to 8:30pm

Teams of three (minimum) are invited to participate in this construction and decorating competition. Gingerbread kits and decorations will be provided while supplies last. First-come-first-served.

COST: Free, but each participant is asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Daily Bread Food Bank.

Non-perishable food examples: canned milk or milk powder, canned tuna, Mac and cheese, canned stew, canned chili, canned pork and beans, canned vegetables, canned fruit cocktail, peanut butter, jelly, boxed sugar...

Everyone is invited to this delicious community dinner in the Great Hall.
The OCADSU will be cooking a 3 course dinner, with our fabulous Head Chef – Nate.

Dinner will be served in the Great Hall between 6pm-8pm

Holiday Food Drive

Campus Life & Career Services has arranged for a bin to be placed next to the elevators in the main lobby. Please donate non-perishable food items for those less-fortunate during the holiday season.

Examples: peanut butter, baby food and formula, canned fruit or vegetables, canned fish or meat, pasta and canned sauce, rice, lentils, cans of stew or hearty soup, powdered or canned milk, cheese spread, cans of beans, boxed macaroni and cheese, or your family's favourite nutritious foods.

Please drop off any donations by Monday, December 17, 2007

If you prefer, you can mail donation cheques to: Daily Bread Food Bank, 191 New Toronto Street, Toronto, ON M8V 2E7. Your dollar buys twice as much food when Daily Bread does the shopping.
