While spring has been slow to come, the end of this academic year seems to have arrived in a flash – GradEx 103 is just two weeks away! Our eye-catching posters, featuring works from last year’s medal winners, are all over the neighbourhood including the subway. It is going to be another amazing exhibition with 23 program medal winners, the most ever. Thank-you to all of our faculty, academic administrators, staff, and entire community for the support that you have provided for our students this year.

With warmer weather on the horizon, many of us are gearing up for a rewarding and eventful spring at OCAD U.
The new year kicked off with some exciting news and events. The University announced the selection of Ana Serrano as the new president and vice-chancellor, beginning July 1. A global leader and visionary in digital media, I’m confident that Ana will steer OCAD U into a new era of expansion and innovation.

OCAD U has been exceptionally busy since late spring, working on various components to the Creative City Campus project. We are thrilled to have completed renovating the Ada Slaight Drawing & Painting Studios (Level 4 south, 100 McCaul St.) and to be halfway through the massive renovations to our future Fabrication Centre.
