Movies for Mental Health

Thursday, March 2, 2017 - 3:00pm to 8:00pm

We are working with Art With Impact (https://www.artwithimpact.org/) and the OCAD U Health & Wellness Centre again this year to bring you Movies For Mental Health!
____________________________________

Movies for Mental Health (M4MH) are 2-hour workshops on college and university campuses that focus on empowering young adults, educators, health professionals and community members to gain a better understanding of mental health within their environment. Knowing that art speaks the language of our interior worlds, we harness film to engage with young people on the vital topic of mental health, inspiring and empowering them to tell their own stories and access resources available to them. (fromartwithimpact.org)
____________________________________

We will be kicking off the event with an expo in the lobby at 100 McCaul that will feature on- and off-campus resources that support mental wellness for students. After that, dinner will be available in the Lambert Lounge along with film screenings and a panel discussion featuring members of the OCAD comunity. We're looking forward to seeing you there!
