OCAD U is hosting a Repair Café. Get free help fixing your broken items and learn from expert volunteer “fixers” about repairing them yourself.
Activities:
-- Industrial Design student Elfy will teach you how to cut textiles and customize your wardrobe.
-- MAAD faculty Beverly Dywan will lead a sew-a-thon to offer free reusable personal towels. Follow Beverly's work: #OCADhandtohand
Who: Anyone from OCAD U and the wider community!
What: Repair Café – a global movement that aims to reduce the waste sent to landfill and change society’s throw-away mindset.
