On Thursday, April 26, recipients of OCAD University’s Teaching Excellence awards were honoured at the annual Celebration of Faculty event. The diverse awards highlight the exceptional work that faculty and teaching assistants do to support student learning at both the institutional and faculty-level, as well as specialized areas such as leadership and teaching first year students. Recipients included:

Building upon a growing partnership between OCAD University and General Motors of Canada, two recent graduates and one student have recently been recruited through the University’s Digital Futures program to work at GM’s Canadian Technical Centre (CTC) in Oshawa.
Beyond the Veil
The work of artist and sessional Illustration instructor, Peter Chan, is on exhibit currently in Montreal, New York and London (UK).

OCAD U's Gary Taxali is one of 50 Illustrators in a new book called "The Illustration Idea Book".Gary's illustration called "Paris, Je T'aime" was created in response to the Paris attacks in November 2015.
