Community Update on Creative City Campus

Tuesday, February 20, 2018 - 6:00pm

You are invited to attend a community update hosted by OCAD University and Councillor Joe Cressy on the Creative City Campus (CCC) project.

Event details
Date: Tuesday, February 20th
Time: 6:00 pm
Place: Lambert Lounge Rm 187, OCAD University, 100 McCaul St.

The CCC is a $60 million capital expansion project that aims to revitalize the OCAD U campus with approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of new space and 95,000 sq. ft. of renovation.

Since the last public meeting in June, the project team has been hard at work responding to feedback from the community and City Planning staff. After further studies and review of the available site options, the strategy has evolved toward building on the north end of the campus at 100 McCaul St.

We encourage you to attend this meeting to view the full presentation which has been shared with OCAD U staff, faculty and students, and to share with us your thoughts. Tell the project staff what OCAD U should be considering as we move forward onto the design stage.

Light refreshments to be served. Invite your neighbours, too! Please RSVP or send any questions or feedback to creativecitycampus@ocadu.ca.

OCAD University President Sara Diamond will deliver a lecture at the Arthur M. Sackler Colloquia on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Washington, D.C.
The Canada Council for the Arts has announced that Spring Hurlbut (AOCA, 1973) and Midi Onodera (AOCA, 1983) are among this year’s winners of the $25,000 Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts.
