Join the TORONTO BIENNIAL OF ART 2019 VOLUNTEER SQUAD
The long-awaited Toronto Biennial of Art (TBA 2019) will host 10 weeks of Canadian and international contemporary art, performances, workshops, talks and community building initiatives. If you are an art lover, cultural enthusiast, student, or ally, we would love for you to join the TBA 2019 Volunteer Squad!

Volunteer Benefits
TBA 2019 Volunteers have access to exciting perks, including:
• Behind-the-scenes experiences at Toronto’s inaugural Biennial. Deepen and share your passion for Canadian, Indigenous, and international contemporary art.
• Special access to public programs, artworks, curators, collaborators, and artists.
• Deepened understandings of the lands, waterways, and history of Lake Ontario. Learn about the multilayered history of GTA’s shoreline through 20+ commissions and 100+ artworks at 14 exhibition sites, located on or near GTA’s waterfront.

Volunteer Requirements
Those interested in volunteering must be able to complete online orientation, attend onsite trainings, and sign a volunteer agreement outlining volunteer hours and policies.

Among All These Tundras - Onsite Gallery
A capacity crowd gathered to attend the opening of Onsite Gallery’s latest exhibition, ᐊᕙᑖᓂᑦ ᑕᒪᐃᓐᓂᑦ ᓄᓇᑐᐃᓐᓇᓂᑦ / Among All These Tundras. The exhibition, on until December 7, 2019, features contemporary art by twelve Indigenous artists from around the circumpolar world.

Winning designs in 'I Voted' sticker competition
In the lead up to the upcoming 2019 federal election, OCAD University and Instagram have teamed up to encourage Canadians to participate in the election. This past spring, OCAD and Instagram launched the “I Voted” sticker competition, which provided design students at OCAD U and NSCAD with an opportunity to design an Instagram Story sticker that will allow Canadians to share their voting experience with the rest of the Instagram community. The sticker will also link to timely Election Day information on when and where Canadians can vote.
