Last Week to View Artscape Youngplace Career Launcher Exhibition

The Centre for Emerging Artists and Designers (CEAD) is excited to congratulate the winner of the Artscape Youngplace Photography Career Launcher, Abigail Holt, and the winner of the Artscape Youngplace Career Launcher for Curatorial Practices, Chris Andrews.

The 5th annual Artscape Youngplace Career Launcher for graduating Photography students offered an opportunity to participate in an extended group exhibition in the Hallway Galleries of Artscape Youngplace. As part of the Career Launcher, a jury comprised of faculty members, a graduate of the CRCP program, and the curatorial committee at Artscape Youngplace selected an artist from the group exhibition and awarded them a solo show in Fall 2018. Abigail Holt is the 2018 Winner of the Artscape Youngplace Photography Career Launcher. Additionally, an essay written by CRCP graduate Chris Andrews was commissioned to accompany the solo exhibition.

This is the last week to see the exhibition at Artscape Youngplace!

As part of the Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers, the Career Development office supports the professional development of emerging OCAD U creative talent. The Career Launchers program offers unique, high-profile opportunities developed in partnership with industry leaders in order to help senior students and new graduates start their professional practice after school.
