OCAD University announces dates of 96th annual Graduate Exhibition, The Show Off

(Toronto — April 5, 2011) The 2011 graduating class at OCAD University (OCAD U) invites you to The Show Off, the university’s 96th annual Graduate Exhibition, to take place May 5 to 8, 2011.

The Show Off presents the work of the class of 2011, an eclectic mix of more than 500 graduating students working in twelve undergraduate programs ranging from drawing and painting, printmaking, photography, criticism and curatorial practice, integrated media and sculpture/installation in the Faculty of Art, to advertising, environmental, industrial and graphic design, illustration and material art and design (jewellery, fibre and ceramics) in the university’s Faculty of Design. Each year, the annual Graduate Exhibition transforms the university’s main building and the acclaimed Sharp Centre for Design into the biggest exhibition of the year.

Opening Night — Thursday, May 5, 6:30 to 10 p.m. (remarks at 7:30 p.m.)
Friday, May 6, 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission: Pay-what-you-can. All are welcome.
