Radical Norms featured in Creative Applications Network blog

Thursday, January 24, 2019

After being introduced at Design TO’s 2019 festival (ongoing through January 27, 2019) '100% Chair: Design for algorithmic landscapes' has been featured in CreativeApplications.Net (CAN), one of today's most authoritative digital art blogs.

Created by Radical Norms, 100% Chair is an exploratory project speculating on the near future where humans and smart machines live, learn and work together. The project explores design processes that consider Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) as a collaborator and a stakeholder. Radical Norms is an emerging design studio led by its three founders, Angelika Seeschaaf-Veres, Koby Barhad and Instructor Daniel Daam-Rossi, who are also teaching in the Industral Design Program. Having cultivated their respective design practices internationally, Toronto has become the place where they look to apply their knowledge and expertise as Radical Norms.

Launched in 2008, CAN tirelessly beat reports innovation across the field and catalogues projects, tools and platforms relevant to the intersection of art, media and technology.
