Please be advised that the ladies washroom on the 3rd floor of 205 Richmond has been placed out of service due to a broken door handle preventing occupants from vacating the space.
Property Management has been notified and will repair the door as soon as possible. Please use the alternate locations on the 2nd or 4th floor in the interim.

Please be advised that the HVAC unit providing ventilation to the south section of the third floor at 100 McCaul is currently out of service. The rooms affected are 384, 381, 375, 376, 387, 389 and 390. Facilities Maintenance staff are on site and hope to have the unit restored as soon as possible.

Please be advised the City of Toronto will commence road and sidewalk repairs on Monday, September 17th, 2018 for a 5-8 week period, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily. Complete details are in the Construction Notice from the City of Toronto. Construction work will take place along Richmond Street West and Duncan St to repair deficient City infrastructure.

Village by the Grange has notified OCAD University that they will be starting repairs on the exterior brick on the St. Patrick side of 113 McCaul Street this week. This means that a scaffolding will be erected and jackhammering will begin on the St. Patrick Street (EAST) side of the building. They hope to have it completed within the month, weather permitting. Grange Property Management has just sent notice that they will be completing emergency maintenance to their chiller system on Wednesday August 22nd from 7:30am until 3pm. This will affect 113 McCaul floors 2-5. The building will still have ventilation, just not chilled air, thankfully temperatures will be a moderate 22*C. Please be advised that on Friday, August 3, 2018 between 7 and 8 a.m. Eastern Construction and the City of Toronto will be completing a scheduled smoke detector inspection at 100 McCaul St. As a result, the emergency bells will be ringing for approximately 10 to15 minutes.

Please be advised that the red emergency phones at 230 Richmond are not currently functioning. OCAD University IT Department is aware of the issue and are working to restore service as soon as possible. If you need to contact OCAD University Security guards in the meantime in case of emergency, please call 416 977 6000 x 511.

Please be advised that contractors doing road work on Richmond Street accidentally cut the buried fibre lines that connect to the emergency phones at 205 Richmond, as a result they are not currently functioning. OCAD University has not yet been notified when the phone company can restore service. If you need to contact OCAD University Security guards in the meantime in case of emergency please call 416 977 6000 x 511.

Please be advised the Accessible washroom located on the 3rd floor is out of service at this time due to a leak within the space. The OCAD University Maintenance Department will be assessing and repairing the situation as soon as possible, and we hope to have it usable again by Monday July 23rd, 2018. In the interim, please visit the Accessible washrooms on the 2nd or 5th floors of 113 McCaul Street.
