Fire Alarm Bell Testing - October 30th, 2018 - 7-8am 205 & 230 Richmond St W

Please be advised that Hullmark Property Management will be testing the fire alarm bells on Tuesday October 30th from 7am to 8am. The order of the testing will commence with 230 Richmond St W, subsequently 240 Richmond St W and lastly 205 Richmond St W. The testing of the system will be non-intrusive.

 

Temporary Entrance Closure, Experiential Learning Centre

The main entrance to the Experiential Learning Centre will be closed periodically the week of October 23 to 27 to faciliate the safety requirements of construction on the exterior of the building.

Ladies Washroom - Out of Service - 230 Richmond St, 6 Floor

Please be advised that the ladies washroom on the 6th floor of 230 Richmond has been placed out of service due to a plumbing issue. Facilities Maintenance staff are currently working on the problem and hope to have it restored as soon as possible. In the interim, please use the ladies washrooms located on the 7th or 5th floor of 230 Richmond.

Multi-Faith Room Temporary Closure: September 29

Please note that to faciliate the safety requirements of construction happening on the roof of the Sharp Centre, OCAD U's multi-faith room, Room 657 on the 6th floor of 100 McCaul Street, will be closed temporarily for the day on Saturday, September 29 from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Ladies Washroom Out of Service - 205 Richmond St. W - 3rd Floor

Please be advised that the ladies washroom on the 3rd floor of 205 Richmond has been placed out of service due to a broken door handle preventing occupants from vacating the space.

Property Management has been notified and will repair the door as soon as possible. Please use the alternate locations on the 2nd or 4th floor in the interim.

HVAC Unit Out of Service - 100 McCaul, 3rd floor south

Please be advised that the HVAC unit providing ventilation to the south section of the third floor at 100 McCaul is currently out of service. The rooms affected are 384, 381, 375, 376, 387, 389 and 390. Facilities Maintenance staff are on site and hope to have the unit restored as soon as possible.

Richmond Street Repairs and 230 Richmond St W Entrance Construction

Please be advised the City of Toronto will commence road and sidewalk repairs on Monday, September 17th, 2018 for a 5-8 week period, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily. Complete details are in the Construction Notice from the City of Toronto. Construction work will take place along Richmond Street West and Duncan St to repair deficient City infrastructure.

The following summarizes all expected pedestrian and vehicular traffic restrictions:

113 McCaul - Exterior Brick Repairs

Village by the Grange has notified OCAD University that they will be starting repairs on the exterior brick on the St. Patrick side of 113 McCaul Street this week. This means that a scaffolding will be erected and jackhammering will begin on the St. Patrick Street (EAST) side of the building. They hope to have it completed within the month, weather permitting.
